Chamber Career To Date |
Officially joined JCIA in 2008 (that's when I received my snazzy JCIA badge!), although I had been involved in some events prior to that in 2006/2007. Took part in Burnside Debating competition in 2006. Since returning to JCIA, I have been involved in a few projects such as GI 32, GI33, Speak to Santa and Ghana project. I was Social deputy for 2010 and have taken on Social lead for 2011.
What The Chamber Has Done For Me: |
JCIA has helped me build on self-confidence, allowed me to attend/take part in great events and has introduced me to some of the most amazing people.
2011 - The Year Ahead (In 25 Words!) |
I’ve taken on the role of social lead and hopefully will manage to have a programme of events with something to suit most members.
If I Won The Lottery (In 25 Words) |
I'd go on a long holiday, buy an Aston Martin (or two depending on how much I won!), give away some cash to friends, family and some charities too!
What Possession I Would Save If My Home
|
Would have to be my hair straighteners -otherwise I would have frizzy hair forever - (that's if it wasn't them that caused the fire…) my ipod and some family photographs! I realise that is more than one possession, but reckon I'd have a go at saving them all.
Most Embarrassing Moment (In 25 Words!) |
For the life of me, I can't think of anything for this – perhaps there have been so many incidents that I have sub-consciously blocked them from my memory….!
Favourite Film: |
Walk the Line,Forrest Gump (awww) and also quite like any funny films.
Are You...Beach Or City Break? |
Am not too fussy when it comes to holidaying, love a city break for a wee long weekend, but also love to catch some rays in the summer.
