Opportunities abound at Junior Chamber International (JCI) Aberdeen. We’re an organisation for young people aged 18 - 40 where you can meet people, learn, develop, and have a great time in the process.
Whether you want to broaden your social network, engage with the community, hone your business skills or improve your public speaking: JCI Aberdeen provides the opportunities.
Aberdeen's Junior Chamber is affiliated to Junior Chamber International providing members with a multitude of opportunities to travel and meet people from over 100 countries worldwide.
The international mission of JCI is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and fellowship necessary to create positive change.
At JCI Aberdeen we develop our local programme of events, and uses four areas of interest to provide structure and to reflect the different interests of its members: Business, Internationalism, Community, and Personal & Professional Development. As a leadership organisation, our members have the opportunity to participate in arranging or leading individual events, and in the longer term, taking a leadership position on the local or national boards.
Alongside the busy local programme of events and activities, there are interests at national level, Junior Chamber Scotland (www.jciscotland.org.uk) and international level, with Junior Chamber International (www.jci.cc), both of whom host events & conferences. JCI Aberdeen is known to be a vibrant challenger for many National and International Awards and in recent years has enjoyed many successes with debating and public speaking locally, nationally and internationally.
